Parents’ and Ancestors’ Voice

This design was created to remind us that God gave us our parents (and inherently, our ancestors as well) as a gift. We should learn from their experiences (good and bad) so that we may grow our souls spiritually and live our lives well. (2nd of 8 in design #146 For the Kids)

Our Parent’s Blood Runs Through Us

We are all born to parents. Their blood runs through us and our energy comes from theirs. In most cases, they are our first role models in life. For those of us brought up by both parents, we watch them everyday and listen to them speaking everyday. As babies and toddlers, we have no idea what they are saying, but we gradually learn to recognize their gestures and words. Then we start to test whether we understand them or not by seeing if they understand us when we do the same thing. This goes on throughout life, the tasks just become more complex.

Like it or not, we are learning from our parents. Good or bad, we are learning from our parents. Nobody is perfect. But we can still learn a lot from even those with the deepest flaws. In many cases, we can learn what not to do in life. This is just as important as learning what we should do.

“The Choice is within each and every one of us to be what we want to be.”

If we actively observe our parents’ mannerisms, ways of speaking, the way they deal with others, this can create a great chance to better ourselves. We can see the affects that they have on themselves as well as on others. Then we have the power to determine if that is the type of person that we want to be. This is key! The choice is within each and every individual. Some are stronger than others in deciding to take the good qualities they learn from others and discard the qualities that they don’t like. This healing art was created to help you do just that.

Understand Each other, but do not Judge

Just remember that you must not judge another person. It is not your job and you are not qualified. Just as no one knows your every thought and every experience in life, you don’t know theirs either. Therefore while you might decide that you should distance yourself from a person because of personality conflicts, you should leave judgement to nature and God alone.

Our Ancestors Speak to Us

To get even deeper, just as you don’t know their complete history, neither do you know their parents’ history. On top of that, their parents’ parents have history as well. Once you combine all their lives and the lives of all their ancestors going back throughout history, you have a very complicated situation. Just as our parents’ blood runs through ours, their parents’ blood runs through them. And so on throughout the ancestral line.

Possibly the easiest thing to understand would be medical history. Genetic issues such as diseases and disorders can be passed along through generations. So can spiritual issues. So can past life issues (good or bad). If your ancestors did good things for others in a particular town, for example, you might find that you are attracted to live in that town and become very successful in life. On the other hand, if they had done something to anger a large amount of people, those spirits with unsettled business may take it out on you – even though you have no idea what even happened.

Since much of this is beyond our control, we have to take it for what we feel naturally. Our parents and ancestors can guide us now, physically and emotionally as well as spiritually, if we are open minded enough to learn from our experiences and what we see.

Get the Best of Your Situation

“Learn to take in their strengths for your own, and discard their weaknesses”

To touch on the often sensitive subject of single parents or children whose parent (or parents) weren’t there for them, I believe this is also part of our life training. Every person is unique and special and requires a different situation in life in order to succeed. Take what you do have and make the best of it. Observe the people around you who take the role of your parents and you will still have the opportunity to learn from them, taking in their good points and discarding their weaknesses. Doing so, you give yourself the chance to be the best you can be.

Inspiration

I was woken up at 3am on this day by a dream and shown the design layout. The messages of how to paint these and their individual meanings continued to flow after I awoke, so I decided to get up and paint them all while the info was fresh!
