Treat Me Right (version 3)

This is the third of three versions of the same “treat me right” design and was created for easing the minds of those who have been mentally, physically or sexually abused by their spouses or partners of the opposite or same sex. This version in particular was created for the victims who are still suffering mentally and emotionally.

The meaning in this art is also meant to take away the desires of attackers, or abusers and make them realize that what they are doing, or what they have done, is wrong. They must see their mistakes and make a strong effort to permanently change their ways.

Inspiration

The meaning behind this picture came from messages in dreams.

Situation

For those suffering emotionally from being abused, raped or controlled by a spouse, girlfriend or boyfriend, or sexually harassed by a co-worker (or anyone for that matter). This takes a tremendous amount of energy to get through and even when it stops, it is difficult or impossible to forget. Only time can heal, and this painting is an attempt to help speed up the healing process.

Notes

This is the first of three designs of “Treat Me Right”. While each is based on the same design and has the same melody, each reaches out to a different audience. See version 1 and version 2 here.

Whenever I paint to help someone, I always try to look at both sides of the issue. I try to remain pure in thought, with unconditional love, as I’d imagine God would want me to. I never hope for revenge against a person, as that is God’s work and it will be done. My job is to spread peace, love and compassion.
