Listen

This design was created to remind us to listen to what we encounter in life (good and / or bad) so that we may develop our souls spiritually and experience a deep, meaningful life.

If we don’t open our minds to listen, we may not hear what’s going on around us. Too often we get caught up with the grunge of daily life and don’t even hear when someone is talking right next to us, much less the subtle signs that guide us on the right path. Hearing and listening are two different things. Hearing is what occurs naturally as our ears catch the sounds around us. Listening requires intent. We listen with the intent to hear something, then we decide whether we will take action on it or not. We should listen with our hearts and enjoy all that nature has to give us, not just the people talking.

Listen to Your Heart to Find Your Path

“I try to clear my mind – not to zone out, but to hone in.”

I am a thinker and many times I simply think too much. When I realize that I’m in a deep thought, especially something trivial or meaningless, I try to catch it and snap out of it as quickly as possible. Then I try to clear my mind – not to zone out, but to hone in – by removing all thoughts that get in the way of being able to hear that which is calling out to me. The signs that guide us on the right path in life come in many ways. You may hear a bird tweet and as you look in that direction to see what color it was, you may see something else that is meant to help you take the next step in your future. But you’ll never know if you aren’t listening.

Everything we do every day, every sound we hear, every vision we see, every person we meet has an effect on our soul and the path of our future.

Take it all in and learn to decipher good from bad. Listen, repeat, listen, repeat, and do it again!

Inspiration

I was woken up at 3am on this day by a dream and shown the design layout. The messages of how to paint these and their individual meanings continued to flow after I awoke, so I decided to get up and paint them all while the info was fresh!

Situation

This is spiritual art to influence us to enjoy the smaller things in life so that we may appreciate when opportunities and warning signs are shown to us.

If you find yourself zoning out of conversations and unable to concentrate very long, or your mind is often cloudy, this design is for you.
